This site has a lot of free resources for AED owners including templates for policy creation, posters, a checklist and more.
In Arizona, we have minimal legislation about AED ownership. The SHARE site can be very important to AED owners.
Registering your device with the state is not specifically required but Medical Direction (A physician who provides oversight) is necessary. Medical Direction typically costs money, but in Arizona, we have an opportunity to get free Medical Direction by simply registering your AED on the SHARE site.
Another law is that you must report any event where an AED was used withing 5 days to the state. This can also be done on the SHARE site if you have registered your AED.
