After the pandemic, there was a shortage of AED units and accessories. The supply is getting back to normal now. Deanna Young is available to help you select and maintain your equipment at no charge.
Any public area visited by a lot of people should have an AED in place and people trained to use it.
- Medical offices
- Churches
- Fitness centers
- Yoga/meditation centers
- Schools
- Restaurants
- Dental offices
- HOA community centers
- Businesses
- Retail stores
- Special event venues
Deanna can help you select the best locations and the proper set up.
- AED equipment should be visually inspected monthly. Deanna can assist with setting the schedule and making a checklist.
- AED parts such as batteries and pads need to be replaced regularly. Deanna can guide you on replacement parts.
- At least one person, probably more, need to be trained on how to use the AED.
Deanna can train your staff, your family, your volunteers. The training can be held at your location. (AEDs do have voice prompts enabling untrained bystanders to administer therapy. However, training improves results and lowers stress for the SCA victim and the Guardian Angel helping them.)
Philips, the nation’s largest AED manufacturer, has announced a price increase as of August 16, 2023. Now is a great time to purchase your AED and any parts or accessories you need.
