Let’s save more lives.
When ordinary people, not just doctors and EMTs, are equipped with the skills to perform CPR, especially if performed immediately, it can double or triple a victim’s chance of survival.
Help us add thousands of lifesavers to our communities. Join us in supporting the American Heart Association to ensure all students, parents, educators, and the community at large learn CPR.

June 1-7 each year is National CPR and AED Awareness Week, spotlighting how lives can be saved if more Americans know CPR and how to use an AED.
In 2007, the AHA in coalition with the American Red Cross and the National Safety Council worked collaboratively to designate a National CPR and AED Awareness Week federally. On December 13, 2007, Congress unanimously passed a resolution to set aside June 1-7 each year as National CPR and AED Awareness Week to spotlight how lives can be saved if more Americans know CPR and how to use an AED. The campaign reinforces these skills but also places importance on the willingness of bystanders to act in a cardiac arrest emergency.
We invite you to celebrate National CPR and AED Awareness Week in your community. The American Heart Association has created free materials that you can print from your home or office printer. Please share this information on your social media posts, with your churches, civic organizations, offices, classes, HOAs, families!!
